Articulate Storyline 360 Localisation Services

Once all text is exported, we then arrange for the transcripts to be translated. This will always be completed by native speakers in the target language/s. Our experienced linguists will ensure that your content is not just translated, but localised for cultural nuances to ensure it is fully understood by the target audience.

Once translated, there is the option to add in an additional proof reading stage before the translated content is then imported back into Storyline.

Using programs like Photoshop and Illustrator we would edit the graphics/illustrations that contain embedded on-screen text (OST) and localise these, creating new images to import into Storyline. 

There are two options when it comes to voice over (VO), human or AI. 

Using a voice over artist to record your narration and audio components means you can be specific in the style you want, and ensure that they capture the linguistic and cultural meaning of the script they’re recording. The professional voice over would then be edited by one of our in-house sound engineers.

There’s also the option to use AI voices within Articulate. The programme offers a text-to-speech (TTS) feature, allowing courses to be narrated in a short amount of time. The AI voice overs within Articulate are completely customisable, so each voice and language can be picked to ensure that every word is pronounced correctly and efficiently. TTS is currently offered in 20+ languages in both Standard and Neural versions. 

If required, subtitles can also be created to sync up to the new voice over, and we would create SRT files to import into Storyline.

Once localising all elements is complete, our team would then seamlessly integrate the localised content into Storyline 360 and begin the editing process. 

This would involve editing the entire project to ensure all translations are presented correctly and aesthetically. We would adjust the animation timings too, to match the new TTS/VO and ensure no text or graphics are truncated.  

We would also test that the functions and triggers still work in the project, such as pop-ups, buttons, and Quizzes. Once complete, we would QA the project is working correctly, check that all translations have been implemented, and then Publish the project for review on Review 360, sending a link to the client/reviewer to make comments and add feedback if required.

Once approved we would Publish the final Module form Storyline 360 for Web, Video, LMS/LRS, or Reach 260.
